Founded in 1994 by renowned mariachi musician and educator José Hernández, Mariachi Reyna de Los Ángeles is America’s first all-female professional mariachi ensemble and a trailblazer in the regional Mexican genre.

Established as a guiding light for young girls participating in Hernández’s nonprofit Mariachi Heritage Society, Reyna has spent three decades redefining mariachi music through musical excellence, cultural leadership and artistic innovation. Today, the ensemble has released seven studio albums and earned three GRAMMY nominations, solidifying its place as one of the most influential mariachi groups in the United States.

This holiday season, Mariachi Reyna de Los Ángeles presents “Navidad en México,” a vibrant and heartfelt Christmas program celebrating the traditions, warmth and spirit of the Mexican holiday season.

The performance features elegant and powerful interpretations of seasonal favorites, including a moving rendition of “Silent Night,” a fiery take on Juan Gabriel’s “24 Diciembre,” and festive classics such as “Winter Wonderland (Ya Llegó la Navidad)” and “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”
